Pokémon Shield is a terrific evolution of the classic series of games, with familiar game mechanics and exciting new features. Explore the wide world of Galar, catch, train and fight a wide variety of Pokémon.
One big new feature in Pokémon Shield Switch NSP XCI is the Wild Area, a large open world area with numerous different Pokémon, including some very rare ones. There’s also a bit of weather changes and that changes which Pokemon can appear.
Another great feature are the Max Raid Battles that lets up to four characters join forces to battle large Dynamax Pokémon. The cooperative aspect will definitely add a fun dimension in catching large creatures in the Galar region.
- Exploring the Wild Area: Wander through vast open spaces, discovering unique Pokémon habitats and collecting valuable items in dynamic weather conditions.
- Watch your Pokémon get BIGGER and POWERFUL for 3 turns of battle with Dynamax and Gigantamax. Some Pokémon can even Gigantamax, altering their appearances!
- Play with other Trainers either online or offline, to defeat giant, powerful Dynamax Pokémon. The fighting in these wars is strategy and teamwork.
- Pokemon Camp: Create a camp and play with your Pokémon, make tasty curries and get along with your team. This will help them become better friends and may provide them with in battle benefits.
- Trainer Customization: Show off your personality using a variety of different clothes, hairstyles and accessories that can be obtained in various stores around Galar.
- Collect ingredients and attempt to make all 151 curry types at your Pokémon Camp! It’s a mini-game that you play to boost your Pokémon’s stats, it’s fun, isn’t it!
Features:
The Wild Area:
A vast open world that links together different towns where the Pokémon can move freely. Weather fluctuates and alters the Pokémon to be encountered.
Dynamax & Gigantamax:
A fight system which will let your Pokémon get gigantic for 3 rounds, increasing in strength and giving special “Max Moves. Some Pokémon will change shape (Gigantamax) and acquire new “G-Max” moves.
Camping & Curry Cooking:
Camp anywhere and play with your Pokémon, bond with them and cook all sorts of curries that can increase their stats and heal them.
Poké Jobs:
Do tasks for jobs, and earn experience and rare items for your boxed Pokémon.
